How to get to Tam Coc - Ninh Binh

There are several ways to get to Tam Coc-Ninh Binh from Hanoi. The fastest way to get to Tam Coc-Ninh Binh is by car. The drive takes about 1 hour and 33 minutes, and the distance is 109 km. You can take the Hanoi - Ninh Binh Expressway (CT01) for a faster and more direct route.

On the other hand, you can take a train. There is no direct train from Hanoi to Tam Coc - Ninh Binh. However, you can take a train from Hanoi to Ninh Binh train station (the journey takes about 2 hours) and then take a taxi or bus to Tam Coc (the journey takes about 30 minutes).

If you stay in the Hanoi Old Quarter area, you can ask local tour operators to take you from your hotel to Tam Coc directly. There are multiple options for bus or limousine van daily. Or if you book a tour from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, transportation is also included.
