Fantastic day trip with Aloha Travel. Tom and Jerry tour guides were amazing, so much fun and so informative about the trip and the local culture. A very fun day exploring Ninh Binh with our awesome tour guide Nien. He did a fantastic job of guiding us through the activities and providing interesting information at the different destinations. We started with a short trek which was challenging but absolutely worth it! The boat ride was very relaxing and was finished with a beautiful lunch at a local restaurant. Incredible food and service! We ended the day with a lovely bike ride through the town, giving us an opportunity to explore backstreets and the duck farm. Overall it was a great day and the tour is definitely worth the money and time!! Thank you Nien and everyone involved in making the day perfect.

Incredible tour with Aloha Vietnam! Ninh Binh is a must visit. Our tour guide, Phong, was attentive, funny, and very accommodating. We started the day bright and early so we were in the temples and attractions before most of the crowds were there. Climbing to the top of the mountain is worth it for the view - don’t worry, there are several rest stations along the way, and a few places to buy cool drinks. The boat ride to the caves was peaceful and enjoyable. Riding around on a bicycle in the countryside was a delightful experience. Overall, would highly recommend.

Do bring sunglasses, a change of clothes, an umbrella in case of rain, and plenty of water to keep you hydrated, though. The heat and humidity was brutal, so we were extra grateful for our private van.

10:15 – Discover Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

Your first stop is Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient capital during the 10th century.

Surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains, this peaceful historical site offers an easy walk suitable for visitors of almost every age.

Explore beautifully preserved temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang and Emperor Le Dai Hanh while learning how this small kingdom became the foundation of modern Vietnam.

Children enjoy wandering through the temple gardens, while grandparents often appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and fascinating history.

Because the walking distance is relatively short, Hoa Lu is an ideal first stop before heading deeper into Ninh Binh's natural landscapes.

You can combine a visit to Am Tiem Cave - the best place for photography lovers if needed. It’s around 10 minutes walking from Hoa Lu Ancient Temple but often missed by group tours.

After your morning sightseeing, it's time to slow down and enjoy one of the highlights of the day.

Unlike crowded buffet restaurants used by many large tour groups, you'll enjoy a quieter atmosphere where your family can relax together.
