TOUR ITINERARY:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DANANG - HOI AN

On arrival at the airport in Da Nang, get picked up and transferred to Hoi An City for hotel check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and get acquainted with the charming old quarter.
DAY 2: INSIGHT TOUR OF HOI AN

8:00 AM: Pick up at the hotel by bicycle. Take a leisurely bike ride to a local farm, passing through rice paddies and breathing in the fresh air. Meet the local farmer and learn about daily farm life. Enjoy a break while sipping a cup of tea in the rice fields before changing into your farming clothes! Change into farm clothes before getting into muddy rice fields: Authentic Vietnamese traditional farmer clothes, conical hat, boots (provided). Learn the traditional process of growing wet rice and what it entails, including the agricultural water system and farming techniques such as using a water buffalo plow! Pedaling back to the hotel to finish the cycling tour. Refresh and lunch.
In the afternoon, together with your tour guide, embark on a walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the ancient quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge
DAY 3: MY SON HOLLY LAND

In the morning, pick up at your hotel in Hoi An. Drive to My Son Sanctuary, a collection of Champa ruins nestled among the mountains in a geological basin of the Quang Nam province (45km west of Hoi An town). Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, My Son is the cultural highlight of central Vietnam and well worth the hour's drive from town. Follow tour guide exploring the groups of temples, you will learn more about the history of the Champa Kingdom. On the way back, stop to visit the Sa Huynh Champa Culture Museum in Tra Kieu. Around noon, return to your hotel. Free in the afternoon.
DAY 4: HOI AN - HUE

Have the whole morning at leisure and doing your own things in Hoi An.
In the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Get picked up by your tour guide and driver again for a drive over Hai Van pass to Hue. Have a short stop on the pass for taking photographs. Hue city - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Vietnam’s former capital. Arrive at your hotel in Hue, check-in and take it easy for the evening and stay overnight.
DAY 5: HIGHLIGHTS OF HUE

Take a journey through Hue’s eventful past as you explore its ancient imperial architecture including; a boat trip along the Perfume River, the Emperor's Private Residence, Thien Mu Pagoda and a royal tomb.
In the morning, breakfast in the hotel as usual. Drive to visit King Minh Mang's tomb & King Khai Dinh tomb. Return to the city for lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover the Ancient Citadel. The walk through the complex is very interesting and informative. Followed by a short transfer to visit the charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda). Setting on the bank of rivers gives you a great view of the Perfume River and surrounding area. Ending the day by boarding on a private boat, cruising on the romantic Perfume River back to the city center.
DAY 6: HUE - DMZ ZONE - PHONG NHA

Depart from Hue at 8:00 a.m. The distance today is almost 200 km. On the way you will have some interesting visits as follows:
- La Vang Holy Land – a shrine located in Quang Tri Province. The church was built near the three banyan trees. This place is a very important place of pilgrimage of Catholics Vietnam. La Vang Holy was awarded by Vatican Holy as the Emirate Palace of La Vang Cathedral since 1961.
- Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River – was built at the 17th Parallel, where the Geneva Accords since 1954 diving the country into a northern and a southern zone was signed. The bridge and river are symbols of the pain of separation and loss in the war.
- Vinh Moc tunnels – an amazing complex of tunnels, where more than a thousand people sheltered during the worst American bombardments.
After the visits, continue on your drive toward Phong Nha. Upon arrival, check-in a hotel for the night stay.
DAY 7: PARADISE CAVE & PHONG NHA CAVE

- After breakfast at the hotel, set off and start the day with a visit to Paradise cave.
- Paradise cave has a length of 31km, the longest dry cave in Asia.
- You will be taken by the electrical car from the parking place to the foothills of the cave (2km). Followed by going in the jungle, see many kinds of trees and hear the sound of nature. Explore the cave about 1km on the wooden paths and see lot of stalactites with different shapes.
- Lunch is served around noontime with local specialties.
- In the afternoon, continue the day to visit Phong Nha Cave which is considered "First Cave wonders"
- To reach the cave, you will take a 5 km boat trip on Son River. The scenery along the river is very rural and peaceful. Once you are getting into this longest wet cave, you have a chance to enjoy the scenery of spectacular limestone, underground river system and unique stalactites in the world. Return to the boat station and make your way to the train station or to the airport for your onward adventures with Custom Vietnam Travel
