Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Can Tho

  • Depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 7:00. Reaching Cai Be at around 9:30, we will firstly visit Cao Dai Temple -Cai Be with the Caodaism, a unique religion in this region; and Cai Be Catholic Church.
  • Afterwards, you will get on the boat and transfer to visit Cai Be land market to observe the locals’ life. Leaving the market, you will have a chance to learn more about the daily life of local people by visiting the orchid gardens and listen to "tai-tu music" - traditional folk songs in the South of Vietnam.
  • You'll then spend one-hour rowing boats to observe and sight-see the beautiful island. Return to the boat and shift to a local restaurant in Tan Phong Island, where you can have a relaxing time to enjoy local fruits and lunch here. Following the break, you will have an opportunity to experience the ferry boat with the local people to go through Tien River.
  • Car wait for picking you up in the opposite side to transfer to Can Tho. Free to discover city by yourselves. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City

  • Start from the early morning, leave Can Tho to make our way up the river to the market at Cai Rang, which is about 6km away. It's one of the most photogenic spots you'll find in Vietnam. The most famous and largest floating market in the Mekong Delta, it’s a colorful, bustling affair, with hundreds of boats jostling for position, both buying and selling. Sellers tie their goods to a tall pole so it’s easy to find what you are looking for. If anything, a boat trip is a great experience to have a somewhat more personal experience on the market because it really is a memorable and fascinating adventure. You will see bustling activities along the riverbanks as well as how they transport passengers and goods by the waterway.
  • To understand more about the local lifestyle, keep on cruising into a smaller canal. Disembark to visit Binh Thuy Temple and the 135 year Binh Thuy House. End of service, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
