Mekong Delta Tour to Cambodia 3 Days (Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho - Chau Doc - Phnompenh)

TOUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1: SAI GON - CAI BE - VINH LONG - CAN THO

• 07:30 am: This morning we will start Mekong Delta Tour to Cambodia 3 Days (Cai Be - Vinh Long - Chau Doc - Phnom Penh).
• 10.30 am: When you arrive in Cai Be, you’ll board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market which is one of the biggest and famous floating markets in Mekong Delta. Furthermore, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and experience the daily life of rural people.
• Next, we walk to visit a coconut candy, a crispy rice cake factory (served free with premium hot tea) and you might buy coconut candy and hand-made items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta for a souvenir.
• When you feel it's enough for the serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for enjoying something different in An Binh Island (or Tan Phong Island). It is famous for fresh fruits for the whole year. On the way, we have an excellent opportunity to look at the sightseeing along the 2 long sides' river and find out the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.
• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go to the local people's house for that (in the seasonable fruits garden).
• After lunch, we are divided into many groups and get on small rowboats. During this 20 minutes trip, your boat will zigzag through a maze of shadow canals to enjoy the fresh air along the canal and wonderful water coconut tree scenery. We can relax on a hammock for a short rest in Mekong Delta.
• Next, we travel to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 2: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - TRA SU FOREST - CHAU DOC

• After breakfast, around 7:15 am, we board a boat and travel to Cai Rang floating market.
• After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and rice paper factories.
• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go back to Can Tho for that.
• After this, our coach takes you to Chau Doc. And we will continue to Tra Su Forest. Your seat on a longboat with a motor which allows you through water covered in green lilies. A bit surreal as it almost likes land, enjoys precious moments living in harmony with nature as well as the wholesome atmosphere. You will be flabbergasted by small houses on stilts with rudimentary bamboo ceilings that are firmly tightened to cajuput trees, making an unusual existence in the quiet ambiance of the forest.
• You stand on a 23.5m high watch tower in the midst of the forest; enjoy a panorama of the vast greenery spotted with the white of storks below and surrounding countryside.
• We stay overnight in Chau Doc.

DAY 3: CHAU DOC - CAMBODIA - PHNOMPENH

• 6:45 am - 7:00 am: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the boat station and catch the boat to Cambodia - Phnompenh.
• Finish Mekong Delta Tour 3 Days to Cambodia
